Earn From Every Guest You Send Us

The full detail behind the affiliate program — what you earn on each guest you send us, how and when you are paid, and what the placards cost you (nothing). It is free to join, with no exclusivity, no minimums and no contract.

What it is

You put a small JellyCarts sign on your counter, in your welcome book, or in your rental. A guest scans the QR code on it. If they go on to rent a cart, you earn 10% of that rental.

It is free to join, there is no exclusivity, no minimum, and no contract term to get out of. We print the sign and give it to you. Nothing is asked of your staff beyond letting the sign sit somewhere a guest will see it.

Already know you want in? Call or text 910-999-2278 or email affiliates@jellycarts.com and we will bring you a sign.

What you actually earn

Commission is 10% of the rental subtotal. That is the all-in price less 8% state tax and less the Road Service Plan — and never the $100 authorization hold, which is only ever held and never charged. Here is every product we sell, and what it pays:

What the guest booksRental subtotalYou earn
Half day — Early Bird or Night Owl$77$7.70
1 night$150$15.00
2 nights$300$30.00
3 nights$360$36.00
7 nights$590$59.00

Most guests who scan a sign book three nights or a week, so the realistic figure per booking is $36 to $59. Ten bookings across a season is somewhere around $400–$600; a busy counter in a good location does considerably better than ten.

The 2027 card is one flat rate all year, so a three-night booking in May pays the same $36 as one in July.

The one rule worth reading twice

You are paid on a customer’s first rental with us, and not on the ones after it.

We would rather say that plainly than bury it. Once someone has rented, we hold their JellyID, their email and their phone, and we look after them from then on — so the introduction is what we are paying for, and we pay for it once.

What that means in practice is better than it sounds. There is no ledger to police and nobody arguing about whose customer is whose. Send us ten new people and you are paid for ten new people, whatever any of them do afterwards. It also means we are not quietly clipping your commission as a guest becomes a regular — there is nothing left to clip.

What you get, and what it costs you

Nothing. We supply the sign, print the code, and replace it when it gets sun-bleached or a guest walks off with it.

  • A weatherproof acrylic counter sign with your own QR code on it.
  • A private QR on your welcome letter that opens your earnings page. The two are deliberately different — the code on your counter carries nothing secret, so a guest photographing your sign can never see what you have earned.
  • No exclusivity. Work with whoever else you like.
  • Leave whenever you want. Anything already earned is still paid.

If your business cannot take a commission

Plenty cannot, and it is usually nothing to do with wanting to. Franchise hotels have brand standards. Licensed property managers have disclosure obligations. Town departments, the chamber, fire and police cannot take a referral fee at all.

None of that is a dead end. We have four other ways to do this, and they are worth roughly the same to you:

  • A guest discount instead. We convert your commission into money off for your guests. You look generous, it costs you nothing, and there is no payment for anyone to approve.
  • A flat placement fee. Advertising rather than commission — a budget line most managers can approve locally, where a referral agreement has to go up the chain.
  • House credit. Your commission becomes cart time you spend yourself: shuttling a guest, covering a room that was not ready, staff use on a quiet week.
  • Paid to a charity you name. A 501(c)(3), a staff fund, the volunteer fire department. Clears most corporate policies that block a direct payment.

Tell us which applies and we will find the version that works.

Property managers, hotels and motels — call us

If you manage multiple units, or run a hotel or motel, do not sign up on the website. The standard program is built for a single counter with a single sign, and it will not fit you properly.

What you have is different: dozens or hundreds of guests arriving on known dates, a welcome book or check-in packet we can be part of, and a front desk being asked “how do we get around?” several times a day. That is worth building a proper plan around, not stapling a QR code to.

Things we can do for an account like yours that we cannot do for a counter:

  • A rate your guests get that nobody else does, so recommending us is genuinely a favour to them.
  • Carts pre-positioned for known arrival dates, rather than hoping one is free.
  • In-unit or in-room material that fits your brand standards instead of fighting them.
  • A single monthly statement across every unit or property, not a pile of separate ones.
  • Commission, a guest discount, a placement fee, house credit, or a mix — whatever your policies actually permit.

Call or text 910-999-2278, or email affiliates@jellycarts.com. Tell us how many units you look after and roughly how your guests arrive, and we will come back with something built for you rather than a form to fill in.

Who this works best for

The sign earns most where a guest is already in holiday-spending mood and has just realised they need to get somewhere:

  • Restaurants, pizza and delivery — a table tent or a box topper, at exactly the moment somebody is planning tomorrow.
  • Beach gear, bikes, surf and kayak rentals — your customer is already renting something for the beach. This is the same decision, one size up.
  • Independent motels and inns — a card at check-in answers a question your desk gets asked all day.
  • Charters, marinas and wedding planners — groups who need to move together and have already booked something else with you.
  • Individual short-term-rental hosts — one placard in the unit, and every new customer it sends us is credited to you.

Getting started takes about ten minutes

  • Call or text 910-999-2278, or email affiliates@jellycarts.com.
  • We take your business name, who to pay, and a phone number.
  • You sign a one-page agreement and a W-9.
  • We bring the sign, show you the two QR codes, and you are live.

We serve Carolina Beach, Kure Beach and Wrightsville Beach. If you are just outside and think your guests would still use us, ask — the answer is often yes.

Commission is 10% of the rental subtotal on a customer’s first rental, paid after the 14-day clearing window on the next billing cycle. Rates shown are the flat 2027 rate card. Payment is to the business named on the W-9. This page describes the standard program; terms for multi-unit and hospitality accounts are agreed individually.
