Bring it back to the lot between 5:00-11:00am or 7:00-10:00pm. That is how most returns work and there is nothing extra to pay; we tell you which lot when you book. If your property allows a cart on site you can leave it there instead and we collect after 7:00pm, also at no charge — but most condos and rentals do not permit it, so ask before counting on it. Left in a lot during the day, the town's paid parking applies while it sits: $5 an hour up to $25 for the day, paid to Wrightsville Beach and not to JellyCarts.

Our carts live on the island. How you get one depends on the hour: collect it from a lot inside the free-parking windows, or have it brought to you for $25 at any other time.

Outside the pickup windows the cart is delivered or dropped off for a flat $25, added to the rental. It is scheduled in advance, not on demand — tell us when and where.

Going home mid-day? Bring it back inside an evening window and there is nothing to pay. If your property happens to allow a cart on site you can leave it there and we collect after 7:00pm instead — but most do not, so ask before you count on it.

Can I legally drive a golf cart on Wrightsville Beach streets?

Yes. JellyCarts are street-legal LSVs (low-speed vehicles) and can be driven on any public street posted 35 mph or under, with a driver 21 or older holding a valid licence and listed on the rental agreement. LSVs may not be driven on the beach itself, on the dunes, or on roads posted above 35 mph.

Can I take the cart off the island?

Legally, yes — Eastwood Road and Wrightsville Avenue are posted 35 mph across the drawbridge, so a street-legal route off the island exists. Check the posted signs as you go: the limit is what governs, and it is the limit on the road you are actually on that matters, not the one you were on a mile back.

Parking in Wrightsville Beach — What to Know

Worth knowing before you book: Wrightsville Beach runs its own paid parking, entirely separate from Carolina Beach’s. The pass included with the Road Service Plan is a Town of Carolina Beach permit — it does not cover parking here.

Parking is run by Pivot Parking and is pay-by-plate — you enter your plate rather than displaying a ticket, and enforcement is done by a camera vehicle reading plates as it drives. Paid season runs roughly 1 March to 31 October. A low-speed vehicle parks as an ordinary vehicle at ordinary rates; there is no LSV provision and no golf-cart discount.

Standard lots are free before 9:00am and after 7:00pm. That window is the one worth planning around — but it applies to standard lots only. Premium lots enforce later, so read the sign on the lot you are actually in rather than trusting the rule you read here. Rates and hours are reviewed annually by the town’s parking committee, so confirm current details with the Town of Wrightsville Beach before you go.

Because we deliver the cart to your address, you are not paying to park it on arrival — parking only matters once you drive somewhere and stop.
