Book the morningBoth rentals come out of the same carts, so booking one reduces the other. A cart out overnight cannot go out again at 5 AM — that is why the two numbers move together.
Most of our short rentals go the same day. Make an account and we will email you when several carts free up — so you book once and never have to keep checking.

Every JellyCart is a new lithium-powered low-speed vehicle — road legal on Carolina Beach and Kure Beach streets posted 35 mph and under.

Every cart is a titled, registered LSV with seat belts, lights, mirrors and a VIN. Legal on any island street posted 35 mph or under.

One added charge, and that is the whole list. The Road Service Plan is $10 a day and
it is included in every all-in price above. It covers your Carolina Beach parking pass, good in the Town of Carolina
Beach 24-hour lots (Kure Beach runs its own plate-scan paid parking and is not included), plus roadside response for a dead battery, a flat or a damaged rim, a failed unlock, and recovery if the
cart cannot be driven back.
What it does not cover: damage to the cart. Dings, scratches, dents and collision damage stay your
responsibility under the rental agreement, and your own auto policy, homeowners policy and credit card almost
certainly will not cover a rented low-speed vehicle — worth checking yours before you book.
So what you actually pay: a Night Owl or an Early Bird is $77.77 + $10 = $87.77. One night is
$145.99 + $10 = $155.99. Three nights is $359.99 + $30 = $389.99. A week is $549.99 + $70 =
$619.99. Rates exclude tax.

Questions
Yes. Because our carts are street-legal LSVs, the driver must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license and be listed on the rental agreement.
Any public street on Carolina Beach or Kure Beach posted 35 mph or under. LSVs may not be driven on the beach itself, on the dunes, or across US 421 where the limit exceeds 35 mph.
Our lithium packs cover roughly 40–50 miles of island driving on a full charge — comfortably a full day. Plug in overnight with the included charger and you start fresh each morning.
On rentals of 3 days or more, yes — delivery and pickup anywhere on Pleasure Island are included. Same-day and 1-day walk-up rentals are self-serve: you walk to the cart and unlock it with a QR code. For addresses off the island, call us for a quote.
Text the number on your rental agreement. We are local, so we typically have a swap cart to you within the hour during business hours.
It is $10 a day and it is a service charge, not insurance and not a damage waiver. It covers two things. First, your Carolina Beach parking pass — the cart carries it, and it is honoured in the Town of Carolina Beach 24-hour lots, which is the parking most people end up paying for. It does not cover Kure Beach, which runs its own plate-scan paid parking, and it does not cover metered spaces, the state park or private lots. Second, roadside response inside our service area, 8 AM to 10 PM, with a 45-minute target: a dead battery, a flat or a damaged rim, a failed unlock, or recovery if the cart cannot be driven back. It is included in every price we advertise, so nothing appears at the counter that you have not already seen.
On three nights or more, yes — we deliver and collect anywhere on Pleasure Island, Kure included, at no charge. Shorter rentals and our Night Owl and Early Bird half-days are pick-up only: the carts stage in Carolina Beach, so you collect yours there and return it to the same space you took it from. It is about a six-minute drive up Lake Park Blvd, and at 5 AM there is nobody on the road.
Damage to the cart is your responsibility under the rental agreement — the Road Service Plan does not cover it, and we would rather say so plainly than let you find out afterwards. Worth knowing before you book: a rented low-speed vehicle usually falls outside a personal auto policy, a homeowners policy and the rental benefit on a credit card, so please check yours rather than assume. We photograph every cart at pickup and return, and you get copies.
Beach rentals run 15 March to 15 November. Outside those dates our fleet moves to long-term leases and the beach operation is closed.
Free cancellation up to 72 hours before your rental starts. Inside 72 hours we will happily move your dates when the fleet allows.
